No sound from stereo, blinkers or seat belt chime

I have an 07 Sierra SLT and I'm not getting any sound from the stereo system - no radio, no blinker noise or seat belt chimes (all of which route through the stereo system). The navigation system is working just fine. GM dealer says it could be the stereo unit itself or an amplifier but they aren't sure which. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Did you happen to put in an aftermarket stero system? If so you need a special harness for those sounds to work (which i'm guessing you've already looked at if you got an aftermarket deck).
