Number 4 misfire

It is back I have a 2001 GMC Jimmy 145k on it. It has a number 4 misfire, everything is new, plugs, wires, cap, so on. New fuel pump, new CPI. Also every test passes, comp, back press, fuel press.

I am at a loss the fuel trims are off also Plus 7 and 10. The mpg is also down. HELP HELP I am lost!!

If everything is in working order, you may have a faulty PCM. Auto Zone sells PCM for i believe around $150.00. Have your PCM tested or re-flashed of it's not to expensive, as for Auto Zone at $150.00. That's not a bad price or you can try the salvage yard for around $50.00.

Keep us posted, be glad to know you got your Jimmy running 100% again soon.

im having a similar problem and i was wondering are you getting service engine soon or CEL?

Hi Tom, if your having a service engine light on. Have that scanned to help identify the issues your engine is having. Don't want you to start replacing good parts that will not help your Jimmy's issue.
