Hi...I brought my 2017 Acadia into the deal for an oil change and they suggested that I change the HVAC filter (I have 15,000 miles). However, there is now a terrible odor permeating the car that is burning my nasal passages and my throat. It is so strong that I have to ride with the windows open (35 degree weather) and a scarf over my nose. I called the dealer and they said that it is the disinfectant that they use and that it should dissipate in a few days. I live 45 minutes away so going back is not an easy option. I am so angry that they didn't tell me that this would be a byproduct as I never would have paid 150 for a service that has literally made me sick. Anyone else have encountered this? TIA.
