Oil Pressure Suddenly Drops

Hey Everybody!!

Recently my Oil pressure gauge has been dropping to 0 when I come to a quick stop or go around a corner fast, then goes back to normal as soon as I touch the gas.

My first thoughts are that it could be a faulty Oil Pump sending Unit or the Oil Pump pickup line has fallen off. What are your thoughts!?

I will most likely replace the sending Unit to be sure as I do not want to remove the oil pan if its not necessary. Is there a way to test the sending unit?

Did you check the dipstick...
Is you fuel diluting your oil???

The dipstick level is perfect and the oil color is still fairly golden.
Upon Further brief inspection it appears the wires for the oil pressure sending unit may be damaged.

I rebuilt the throttle body injection unit so the fuel pressure and injectors should be fine.
I will pull my spark plugs and check for carbon fouling to be sure.
