Can’t pass inspection because the dash light is on. “Torque converter solenoid “ is implicated by P0740. 1998 Sonoma 6cyl with “W” in the VIN. Truck runs/ drives great and doesn’t seem to have a shift problem
I saw something about a fuse to test, under the hood. (Which, if less than 12v, would implicate the Ignition Switch being a problem). Can anyone advise?
1) what fuse to test
2) is an Ignition Switch the same thing as a Key Cylinder?
Also saw some people fixed by “reprograming ECM”
Any help will be appreciated.
