When I tow a trailer with my 2010 Sierra 1500 I turn off the Park Assist. But, the odometer reading is no longer visible. All I see is a message that my Park Assist is blocked, see the operator manual. Hell, I know it's blocked, I have a trailer hooked up and I intentionally turned it off. Why can't my truck's computer recognize that and show me a standard odometer display so I can see what miles I've gone, etc. Is there any possibility of software upgrades for these kinds of things?
