Hello everyone!
I am new to this forum but am not so green in the forum world. Before I registered and posted this thread, I did try to do my research first to see if there was already a post related to my concern to eliminate duplication (there was none).
Ive been having an issue with my wife's 2010 GMC Acadia SLT2, the passenger's side view mirror assembly was replaced sometime last year and ever since then, while traveling over uneven roads (light and heavy) there is an annoying chirping noise on the passenger's side door panel. If you apply pressure in the mid section, the noise would go away. I have taken the car back to the dealer eight times (thats right, eight times!) and they say they fixed it but every time I am on my way home, lo and behold, there it is. I am going to take it back to the dealer again because it is their concern however, after eight failures, I am looking to see if I can fix it myself (with the help of you guys too of course).
If anyone can provide some insights on this issue, it would be much appreciated.
Thank you!
