Heyy everyone, I'm new to the forum. I have a 2008 Sierra 1500 4.8l v8. I'm looking around for performance filters and I've been looking at

K&N
S&B
Volant
RollingBigPower
Airaid

Im just wondering what ones the best hp/torque gain wise? what are your opinions?
Thankkk youu!:):)

There all about the same in performance gain, it's more your preference and the simplicity of installation. You really don't get much gain without also improving your exhaust system to match your intake and once that is all done, have your Sierra Dyno tuned to the new intake and exhaust you have installed.

If dyno tuning is a bit to much as it's time consuming on equipment, you can log on to http://www.pcmforless.com/. They can flash your PCM for better performance and improve your gas mileage at the same time. There tune is also i believe lifetime, so if you ever need any changes they will do it for yha.

Good luck and hope this helps. :D

i put a spectre in my 05 about a month ago, the tubing was kinda wonky to get just right but the sound is like having an old school carbed small block with a double pumper suckin away. cost around 150

Installed airaid on my 2005 Sierra and love it, also sounds like old school q-jet
carb.
