Pitman arm replacement

How easy is it to replace the pitman arm on a 2001 Z71. Is there any special tools and should I check anything else while down there.

You need to remove the steering box from the Sierra and then you can remove the nut the holds the pitman arm to the steering box. Your also going to need a puller to get the pitman arm from the steering box and a air gun to remove the nut.

Good luck and disconnect the battery just to make sure the vibrations don't set off the air bags. Good luck and keep us posted.
