Well my 93 k1500 5.7l 350 small block has been running really funny. I changed the fuel filter thinking it could be that did not seem to help. It idles hard but its worst when I have it in drive and stop and a stop light or stop sign it jumps up and down. It stays under 1,000 but it jumps and causing a vibration. Any ideas? I have changed the fuel filter, oil, oil filter, and spark plugs. I have also used seafoam it seemed to help idle wile in park but not wile she is in drive. Could it be some bad plug wires? I checked the distributor cap everything looked fine on that.

Check all your vacuum lines and replace any that are damaged from cracks and dry rots. A clogged EGR valve that is stuck open would also cause the issues your have mentioned above.

Remove the EGR valve and clean it with carb cleaner or replace it if its to gummed up with carbon since there not to expensive. Would not hurt also to clean up the throttle body with throttle body cleaner.
