I bought a 98 jimmy for 3 grand mint....after 2 day of driving on the third day i took it to work and i am working abouut 45 mins from home im all over as i am a concrete worker on my way out of the city a grinding or rubbing noice started in my back right tire only after hitting rough bumps tho. On the way home it started happening to front drivers then passenger then inbetween the 2 somewhere in the middle of undercarage i got told it was nothing to worry as it was probably a suspention promlem so i drove it the next day same issue met up with another friend the next day looked under and seen that the rear diff is leaking quite a bit of oil. so its been sitting for 4 dayz now.At this point im pretty certain this is the problem. But i guess my question is A does periodic grinding over bumps mean its completly pooched or do i just need to change the seals And top up oil and if there is no leaks is the front why am i getting grinding in the front? Squeeking from front also started happening wich im certain is the struts.
