My check light came on in my car i took it to Adance Auto parts and they told methe computer said Po496 EVAP Emissoin high purge flow fault, they couldnt figure out what it was and icouldnt find anything on it for my truck either. Help?
Purge flow fault can be a simple fix of either tightening or replacing your gas cap or changing the evap purge solenoid. Check your gas cap gasket and also look for vacuum hose leaks.
Depending on your car's mileage this could still be covered under its emission warranty.
There is also a recall for this year vehicle that might cause this problem.
