popping sound

I have a 2007 GMC Sierra SLE 4X4 and have popping sounds from the front drivers brake area when I apply the brakes. Anybody have any answers on what the problem may be?

Hard to say from here. My best guess is that something has worked itself loose. Have you changed your brake pads recently? are they original? If you recently changed the pads just before this popping sound occured, I would check the mounting bolts for the calipers. They may not be in.
