Ok, so while I'm driving my 2000 GMC Jimmy I can feel some type of knocking under my foot while I'm driving. My GMC also seems to be difficult to drive straight. I know I need to have the front end realigned could this be the cause of this knocking under my foot? Or is it possibly something else?

Have you checked or had some one check the torsion bars?

Could be a bad tie rod or bad ball joints. There are common to go bad on our Jimmy's and you should replace any parts that are worn as soon as possible.

When the tie rod or ball joint fails, it can cause you to loose control and will cause you more the the cost of replacing worn parts.

The good news is that when you bring it in to the shop, they will not charge you when they try to line up the wheels if there are worn parts. They wll el you what it needs to be done to line it up.

Good luck and be safe, keep us posted. :D
