Hi guys, new to the forum so take it easy on me:)
Anyways here's my questions:

1) My power locks have recently stopped working at random times. Up until a week ago, both the driver/passenger power locks were working. Now it seems sometimes throughout the day they like to work and sometimes they don't. Usually when I start my truck and start driving they work perfectly, but when I stop and turn my truck off and go to lock the vehicle to arm the alarm system, they don't like to work. I can't think of a reason why this would be happening. It can't be a fuse. So what else could it be?

2) I live in Canada so it's almost like being in the god dam arctic during the winter. When it's cold out, even if my truck is plugged in overnight, I go to start it in the morning and it turns over fine. But, then it starts to low idle----high idle----low idle------very low idle-----stalls out. Again, it's freezing up here, temperatures in the high -30 overnight.

I also should add that I have a full Dynomax Dual Exhaust System and full Volant CAI System. Not sure if it matters, but thought I should add that in as well.

About your door locks. a few things come to mind, im sure if im wrong someone will correct me lol. but i belive you may have a bad wire or your actuators are starting to fail ?which is easy enough to fix.

as for your second problem i too live in canada (saskatchewan) i was just wondering if maybe you tried to reset the computer in the winter. to see if that makes a difference ? or perhaps its your cold air intake causng issues ? i have heard of guys who run CAI in teh winter having these kind of problems. i heard sometimes you have to get the computer tuned so itll run right with a cai.

good luck to ya

I am going to guess

but first i would check all the fuse's

and then from experience i would grab the harness between the drivers door and kick panel ... and move the harness as you are pressing your lock/unlock buttons and see if you can get them to work.. if you can repair wires and you should be good

cheers
good luck

door locks

Just had mind fixed under warranty. I have a 2009 Sierra and all the locks would work except the front passenger door. They told me it was the actuwaiter and replaced it.
