Power locks on drivers door don't operate

I have a 2008 GMC Sierra and the power locks, either by using the fab or pressing lock/unlock from the inside lock/unlock all 3 other doors but not the drivers door. I have to manually lock/unlock from the inside or by using the key.

Any ideas?

Your power door lock actuator has gone bad and will need to be replaced, it's a common issue with the new Sierra and Yukon's.

My '01 has the same problem, looks like you'll have to remove the door panel to replace the actuator. Might be a tight squeeze too.

Here are two links that should help you on to taking the door panel off. If you still not sure, go to a window repair shop for some advice and they should be more then happy to answer any questions you may have.
