Power seat problems in 2001 GMC Jimmy?

I have a 2001 GMC Jimmy and i can't move the power seat, the only thing i can move on the seat is thelumbar support. Any ideas? can't find anything on the fuses.

Most common to go bad is the switch it self, remove the switch to the seat and test the terminals on the switch to see if there good. In most cases you can get the switch to start working again with spraying electrical contact cleaner from most parts store.

Keep us posted and at worst it's going to be a bad motor to your seat. Here is a link to your power seat on your Jimmy, there are two links. One is for a 8 way and the other is for a 6 way power adjustment. Good luck and keep us posted.
