hi everyone, i am new to a GMC. i got the Arcadia Denali, I ALWAYS HAD infiniti's and decided to go to a GMC SUV because i loved the look in red, and the size of it.
the car is loaded with gauges and buttons, and at just over 600 miles, i am still learning. the volt meter always showed over 14 volts, and the first problem i had was after 3 weeks it started to shift from 14 to 12 and then back up to 14. it just keeps doing that. i took it is to be checked, and they said that it is normal, and gave me a printout from GM saying it.
ok then a new thing started. i would get into the car, and all the settings i made in there changed. i redid everything, and 2 days later they changed again. i called them at the dealer and they didn't believe me when i told them. the 3rd time they changed, even my drivers seat changed, and with me in the seat, it pushed the seat all the way up to the wheel. i called, told them, and demanded it be checked.
this time they check the voltage again and said it is working the way it was designed, and they also said they found out that the software that operates the radio, also controls the seats and other things. they told me GM knows there is a software problem, and they are working on a update for it, but nothing yet.
have you ever heard of this, and if you did, is there a date that it might get fixed. thanks for any answers you can give me on this being i am new.
