HI and how are you? the brake shoe on my 2000 gmc savana 12 passengers are worm out. the left and right brake cylinders are in good shape.

pls i need a guide or instruction on how to remove the old brake shoes and put on the new brake shoes. instructions with picture will also be great.

since i am not going to be doing anything with the brake cylinder, will i still have to bleed. on regular basis when i change caliper brake, if i dont open the caliper bleed cap, i dont have to bleed the brakes. all i do is push the cylinder back in and put on the new brakes and pump the pedal three or four times.

thanks for all info

Get a Chilton or Haynes manual for guidance. You can also use the brakes themselves.
Jack up both sides and remove the wheels and drums. Take one side apart and use the other side as a visual. Pay special attention to the spring orientations.
Pick up a replacement hardware kit while your at it. The old ones suffer from metal fatigue over time.
