I currently own a 2010 Acadia SLT1 with under 45000 km. About two weeks ago the rear vision camera would intermittently stop functioning and at other times would work perfectly again.
I have taken it to the dealer only to be told that the warranty had expired mere weeks previously and told that a diagnostic would cost $65.00. I find it odd that such a device with no moving parts would suddenly go wonky.
Before forking over my hard earned money, I thought I would try my luck with plugging/unplugging the device (just in case the plug worked itself loose...I know, fat chance, but still worth a shot.)
Has anyone with this problem come up with a simple solution?
Any help with location of the camera module would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
