Replace 1999 Sonoma License Plate Light

Can anyone tell me how to replace the license plate light on a 1999 Sonoma pickup? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Underneath the truck and at the back of the license plate lights. There is a harness running into the bumper that splits into two that go to each side of the license plate.

Twist the socket out of the bumper by turning it counterclockwise, then pulling the socket out of the housing. Pull the bulb out of the socket and then replace it with the new replacement bulb.

Once that's installed, reinsert the socket into the bumper and twist it to lock it into position. You may want to repeat this process on the other side and replace the bulbs with LEDS bulbs so your not going to have to replace them for the better part of the Sonoma's life.
