I have a 2002 Sonoma, SLS extended cab, with the 4.3L V6. I bought replacement fuel tank for it, and it seems the original has been discontinued. The new fuel tank, and I have confirmed that it is the right tank, doesn't have the 2 other caps and lines that the original did, and I know that if I installed the new one I would have the permanent check engine light on, and wouldn't be able to smog it. Has anyone else ran into this issue? How were you able to fix it?
