Hey guys. I'm new here and I need some help. I just bought a 98 Sonoma 2.2l 5 spd. The truck has 151xxx miles on it and I have some questions. It idles super rough. Almost like its missing a cylinder. And to go with the rough idle it has NO power. I did scan for dtc's and I came up with 3 of them. The first is P0335, second is P0341, and lastly a P1336. Since all of these are related between the crankshaft and camshaft sensors I was wondering if maybe the truck jumped time? Just by a tooth or two. Any help would be a HUGE help. Tanks a ton. :)

thanks for the help.

i dont think anybody has ignored you.
but i DO think that there simply isnt anybody here except you and me.
i been waiting for my introductory post to be approved for a couple days now.
everytime i have checked in.

i would think this place would have more traffic.

There are three issues that need to be addressed with your codes. You have to inspect the crankshaft sensor and cam shaft sensor. Make sure the wire harness are not damaged and that the sensor it self is not damaged.

The last code P1336 means that the on board computer has not learned the crankshaft variation. This could be caused if recent work has been done and the relearn procedure has not been done. The relearn requires a scan tool capable of this function, not just a code reader. If doing a relearn does not fix it there could be a problem with the crankshaft position sensor itself.
