Well it was bound to happen. Hurricane Sandy dropped a large Spruce tree on my house and then it fell off the house and landed on the roof of my Sierra. It does not look like a total loss but there are some pretty deep indents in the roof and a rather big depression. I will get more pictures when the tree is off. My question is how do they do roof repairs on theses trucks? Should I be worried? There appears to be no damage to the structural part of the cab. Any opinions and comments will be appreciated. I have been sick to my stomach about this happening to my 1 year old truck but I keep telling myself it could be worse.

Sorry to here your truck got hit by Sandy. I don't know the answer to your question, but would recommend Country Auto Body in Wantage. They are good, but expensive.

I decided on Forest Auto here in West Milford, NJ. It has been there for a week. It was painted yesterday. It got a new roof. I just hope all the paint matched and everything goes back together clean. Unfortunately, I am anticipating plenty of squeaks and rattles. The other thing that bothers me is now having this on a carfax record that will ultimately decrease its value.

But shes a sierra that survived the superstorm of the century... would you sell a truck that took sandy to the face and laughed? oh, you were just kidding.
