Jeep Grand Cherokee? I am at the end of a lease on a Honda Pilot. I do not NEED the 3rd row. But I like the space. I want another lease. Under $400 monthly on a lease. These are the cars I am thinking of. Is there another car I should consider? Please help by giving your vote and a short reason.

The GMC Acadia is by far the best. It is more luxurious than the Saturn Outlook, but is more expensive. Consumer Reports recommends the Saturn Outlook for midsize and large SUV, beating the honda pilot and Toyota Highlander. The GM suv's are more useable in real life. Their interior volume is similar to the Tahoe, while their exterior dimensions are equal to other midsize SUV's. I would definitely not lease the new Toyota Highlander. Toyotas last two releases, the Camry and Tundra, have several problems, few of which have been recalled yet. The Jeep is less practical and gets the worst MPG's, but it is truck based and can go off road. The Acadia/Outlook have the best and easiest to access third row seats. Get a Buick Enclave if you can find a lease that you are willing to pay. Buick has the top rated quality and reliability from JD Power. The Enclave is from the same platform as the Acadia and Outlook, but is simply the most luxurious. It has been rated over other SUV's made by Lexus that cost thousands more.

Go for the Jeep and do a purchase instead. They last a long time, are reliable, have a good warranty, really will go off road if needed, and have good performance. A purchase will mean not having to worry about mileage, and the insurance will be less. I have owned a few and have driven them through the worst sort of conditions and I have always made it home safe.
