My daughter has a 2006 GMC 2500HD. She came home from school today and told me she could smell something burning. I found the elec motor under the passenger seat to be hot but it is never used. There are 2 of them under the seat and the one that is hot is the front one. For now I pulled the fuse that operates both front seats and the power windows on the passenger side. Has anybody ever had this problem?

I am sorry to hear that your daughter’s 2500HD electric seat motor seemed to be malfunctioning when she got home today.
