Security light and door lock issue

I have a 99 Sonoma SLE with 189k and it has RKE. When I open the driver door the Security light starts flashing. But it goes out when the door is closed or when the truck is started. Is this normal? The truck starts and runs fine with no light. If the doors are locked (truck off) the security light goes solid (then goes out). Also, when I lock the doors using the driver or pass door switch, the DRIVER door immediately unlocks itself. Pass door remains locked. This is only if the key is in the ignition (truck running or not). If the key is not in ignition, the driver door stays locked when locked. My battery also dies in 30 mins if I lock the doors. I have replaced all door lock switches and relays as well as ignition switch, key and ignition cylinder and passlock sensor. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
