have a 2000 sierra that I parked in the yard friday afternoon and when NI went to go to store saturday morning, the security light was blinking and truck would not start. Was told at stealer that it would have to replace security module and would cost about $1,000.00 + or -. Truck has 225,000 miles on it and runs great but thats a little much for it. Can I override the security system or disarm it so I can use my truck??? Thanks in advance for any help with this. I have tried the 11 minute on and off trick but no good.
