Shift to park

[Vaferguson]

2019 Sierra Denali. 80-90% of the time when I turn it off it starts dinging and gives a “shift to park” message. No rhyme or reason when it happens or doesn’t happen. Engine shuts down, but radio continues to play and dash is lit up. Dealership wasn’t sure how to correct it.

I think this is a known GMC issue? Open to ideas/suggestions.
