Short in Headlight/Blinker on 2001 GMC Jimmy?

i have a 2001 GMC Jimmy and whenever the daytime lights are on and i hit my blinker they shut off. IS that a short or are they supposed to do that. Another thing is that whenever my headlights are on my passenger side blinker blinks really fast but that is only when the headlights are on, the driver side doesnt do it. what would cause that??

is this normal? my DRL turn off when i swtich on my blinkers, but they dont blink fast.

In regards to DRL turning off when you turn the blinker on, they are supposed to do that, for the blinker running when the headlights are on, I can't help with that

change the blinker bulbs on that side, front and rear, probably a bad bulb
