should i havemetal shavings on my magnetic oil plug with a new engine?

I had blow about a mouth ago and replaced it with a brand new 350. Ive changed the oil twice and both time there was metal shaving on my oil plug. Is this normal or should I be worried?

How big are the chunks is the question. On a brand new engine, there will be a very small amount of shavings as the piston rings scrape the walls. That should for the most part go away after a very short time, as in your second oil change, but will still leave some debris on the plug. If however the bits look more like chunks than a fine powder, you might want to get it looked at.
