Side door hinges

I have a 98 Savanna (project van)..its been sitting and has 140K Michigan miles. The side doors need replacement since they are rusted at the bottoms and damaged.
How does one get the hinge pins out?? I tried blaster, heat and severe beating with a hammer..they wont move.
I looked at a van in the salvage yard and they sawsall the hinge in half rather than remove the pin.
Whats the secret? This looks like a very cheap design without consideration for service.

Hinge Pins

Found a pair of color matching side doors in a salvage yard..pins frozen. The yard sawzalled them off through the hinge. I sawzalled mine off using the 1/4" hole in each half as a reference. Placed the new doors in position and latched it. Mig welded the joint. Kept working each half while spraying the pin with blaster. They eventually freed up.
One way to replace the door when the pins wont cooperate.

Next time, try using a 50/50 mix of Transmission and brake fluid. Keep in mind that the brake fluid will eat up any paint that you don't want damage, the the mixture works great on all nuts and bolts that is frozen.

Also you can buy the pins for your door with a grease nipple on it to lubricate the pins, which will solve the issues you are having in the future.
