Sierra brake warning light on..

I have a 1991 Sierra with brake light in the dash on. Brake fluid is full, replaced the front pads... No leaks.. The light still on..

I don't know about the 91 models, but when that body style first came out in the mid 80's I had one that the brake light was on and I found that a brake light was out. If I'm remembering this right anyway. Otherwise the light usually is to indicate a malfunction with the brake system, such as the anti-lock system. I think those only had the rear anti-lock though. Again, only if memory serves me correctly.

Thanks for the info... I also tried disconnecting the battery for 12 hrs.. No luck with that.. Anything else I might try???
