What ever happened to the days when you took your truck in for a simple oil change and that's what you got? I'm new to this forum because I'm tired of expecting to hear $150 for oil and filters and being told I need $1180 worth of work done. Ok so I'm not the best at daily preventive maintenance ( I should be, did it for a living), but most of the stuff I hear from the dealer are things I can do myself. So I will buy the shop manual for my 2001 2500HD Diesel and get to work. Thanks for this group as I will probably have questions.
