sonoma injector upgrade update

Hi all, so I filled my tank today after last tues upgrading my spider from oe poppets to the upgraded electronic injectors - direct replacement.

I had about 30mi on this tank with the old, and totaled 124mi with 8.7gal to fill.

I also replaced the 180deg stat with a 195 - IR therm said 174 @ gooseneck.

Between these (2) items I picked up 3mpg -(all city, short trips) not bad, but the truck runs better also.

I also run 235/75's on it

Where did you get the new injector set? Part #? I have the 4.3 W in my 1994. Would this be the same # for mine? Thanks.

The '94 uses a different injector system than the '98

I believe it's a throttle-body injector (nozzle in the throttle body) - They're much easier to work on, but slightly less efficient.

My brother's '95 astro awd uses that system and he regularly gets over 20mpg, and it's always run well.
