Hey all, new guy here with an issue on my dads 2000 Jimmy, I went to replace the speakers in the front doors, passenger side went in fine, on the drivers side the ground seemed to have gone bad somewhere, so I grounded the speaker on the door, now I turn the truck on and get no sound whatsoever, nothing at all, until I disconnect the drivers side door speaker and everything plays fine, then I reconnect the speaker and it plays fine, until I shut off the truck and restart it, then I have to disconnect the drivers speaker for any sound at all. I'm fairly certain its not the speaker itself as I've had them for a number of years in my Toyota with no issues at all. Any thoughts/help would be appreciated!
