squeaking noise

My sonoma makes a squeaking noise when idling or at low speeds , very annoying. I changed the idler pulley but it did not correct it, the belt is in good shape also, I was told if its not the idler pulley it is the alternator, any ideas?

it very well could be the alternator, since its the only other pulley that doesnt have oil, like the idler. best way i found is take the belt off/loose and hand spin it. Or make a homemade stethescope. goodluck...

I also have a 96, had to replace fuel pump and turn signal flashers. there seems to be a rattle when idling
