I have a 89 Sierra SLE 4x4 and there is a bad squeak coming from the driver's side front wheel area. It sounds like a squeaking bed while im driving and if the load is heavy on the left side such as making a right turn the weight goes to the left and its loud as usual. If I make a left turn and the weight goes right, it goes away. If I open the driver's door and stand in the door well and bounce the truck, it squeaks like cazy. If I do the same on the passenger side its nothing. I can't tell if this is the shock, the control arm bushing, ball joint or whatever. Does any know what this is or has had this problem and how hard is it to fix?

Ive had similar issues with locating the bouncing squeaks. What I do is grab a can of silicone spray and spray one component at a time, weather it be a control arm bushing or shock mount or whatever and when the squeak stops i inspect the last thing i sprayed to see if a little R&R is needed.

I shot some WD-40 all around the area but I don't know if that's as good as the silicone spray but nothing changed, still super squeaky. Thanks for the tip though.
