i have a 99 gmc sierra 4.3l and everytime i try toi start it it takes a while to get started, but once it starts it runs perfect. i also have to push on the gas to help it start. im thinking it has something to do with fuel not flowing right. i have changed the fuel filter already. and i did a full tune up to it, and theres no engine light on. can anyone give me advice to fix problem id appreciate it. thx

sounds like you have fuel preasure problems. So you need to test here is how.....

Hook up a fuel preasure tester to the shrader valve on the high side line under the hood. If you don't have a fuel preasure gage go to sears and buy one you will use it more than once trust me.

Then start motor and check preasure it's a 99 so should be 45 psi or higher) then shut off tk and watch the gage and see how fast it drops. Depending on how fast it drops will tell me if this is your problem or not. Then if it drops way down turn on key and see how fast it bilds preasure again.
Then try to start if it don't start then put gas pedal to floor (put pcm in clear flood mode) and see if it starts then. let me know what you find
