what part of the starter keeps failing,
wondering do you have stock exhaust manifold or headers?(are you cooking the starter)
what condition is the flywheel ring gear?
if you don't have the full 12+ volts to the starter that will shorten the life, if you don't

most garages will replace the starter if the connections are corroded, After spending $300 plus to have the starter changed, and it lasted less than a year, I looked at the old starter and found the connections were corroded, I cleaned the connections and got the mechanic to put it back on my truck, that has been several months ago and it still works fine, the connections on the replacement starter are corroded, I will clean them and swap them again when needed,
