When i turn left my 2004 Sierra 1500 makes a moaning/groaning noise. I feel a little vibration in the wheel. This is loudest at 10-30 mph. Any suggestions?

Hello,

I’m sorry to hear about the concerns you’re having with your Sierra! Have you thought of talking about this with your dealership? They’re going to have the best information when it comes to your vehicle. If you wouldn’t mind keeping me updated on your progress, I’d appreciate it.

Thanks,
Laura

If you have a Hydro-boost System which i think you do, it sounds like your seal to the relief valve has gone bad and will need to be replaced. Here is some information that should help you.

F/CMVSS Noncompliance - Brake Hydro-Boost Relief Valve Seal Fracture #04004A - (Jun 18, 2004)

04004A - Brake Hydro-Boost Relief Valve Seal Fracture

2003-2004 Cadillac Escalade, Escalade EXT, Escalade ESV

2003-2004 Chevrolet Silverado, Avalanche, Suburban, Express

2004 Chevrolet Tahoe

2003-2004 GMC Sierra, Yukon, Yukon XL, Savana

2003-2004 HUMMER H2

Start with looking in to that to make sure that your brakes will not be the next thing to cause you issues.

Good luck and keep us posted. ;)

most liky a bad wheel bearing. Jack up the front wheels one at a time on the lower control arms and shake the wheel up and down for play. There should be none.

Possibly Power Steering fluid is low? check it. Also, did this happen all of a sudden or did you do work on your vehical before this happening? check your brake fluid as well.
