I'm getting ready to change the oil soon on my 08 1500 sierra 4wd. Bought the truck in August with only 50,000 and only have 52,000 miles on it now cause I don't have to drive to work, but I want to change it now so I know what's going into it. Never used synthetic before, any suggestions on brands and how often you guys change oil when using synthetics. As I said I'm lucky enough to walk to work so the truck doesn't see a lot of road time except on weekends which is all highyway.
