Hey Guys this is my first post, I browsed around a lot of GM forums before deciding to register here. It looks alot like the Super Coupe forum I frequent.

But down to business
I am having some trans issues I believe, The issue has been prevalent for about 2 years now I just keep forgetting to diagnose it.

This issue is not as prominent in the summer as it is in the winter, or on cold moist mornings.

The CEL will illuminate and the trans wont shift until higher rpms when it does decide to shift its like getting rearended, its a very violent and sudden shift.

When I get in and see the CEL is illuminated I can turn the truck off and count to 30 and start it back up and its like it was never there. I can also shift into reverse gas it a little harder than normal for backing out of the drive way and come to a complete stop then shift into Drive and as I take off the light will go away.

With it being or seeming to be temp and humidity sensitive I wanna say its a sensor or something but the being able to shift to reverse and go a short distance and it going out makes me worry.

any Ideas
Sorry for the long read

Extremely harsh shifts from P or N, normal shifts at WOT: EPC (Electronic Pressure Control) solenoid failed. Easy fix in pan. Fix as soon as possible or hard parts will eventually break.

1-2 shift is delayed and harsh, may not shift into OD: Check TPS for smooth and linear electrical response over the entire range of motion. If not, replace.

Try addressing these two mentioned above and keep us posted.
