switching 305 for rebuild 350

wanting to switch my motor out for a 350. was just wondering what some of you guys have done in the past with a 350 rebuild. thanks

If its for an 86 Jimmy as your name implies, it will bolt right in....Later models with EFI etc you would have to change computer stuff

thanks. but im really wanting to know like the guts part like what kind of cam should i throw in and stuff to get bang for the buck

You might be able to just get a crate motor for an '80 or earlier before the fuel crisis made everyone froggy
