I am having difficulty posting . Seems to work today.
I have just joined this site after purchasing a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 WT. It a 5.3L , 4WD standard cab with an 8' bed. It has 16K miles on it and in as new condition. Hopefully I can gain more knowledge on this site as well as contributing. I have been a gear head for 50 years and usually buy a weekend truck every 8-10 years and this is my 4th truck. I just sold a 1999 F150 with 55K miles and the frame was rusting out. I use this only on weekends for gathering wood and doing some snow plow work for my family. Hopefully we'll get at least 10 years out of this. I also have been doing my own work from the early days of carburetion to the present EFI systems. So I'm looking forward to get info and give as much as I can. Thanks.
