I was testing fuses to see why Ac on light was not coming on (Ac was blowing cold air but no gree light on Ac power button). All fuses looked ok, but now Envoy wont start. Was told to disconnect battery for 30 mins to reset onboard pc. disconnected hot wire ( wasn't told to disconnect neg), still would not start Had it towed to garage and they printed out a schemactic of the fuse panel and said the fuel pump relay was missing. Even thought it was 107 at 2 pm in the auto parts store parking lot I can't see me lossing or inserting the fuel relay into the wront slots. The fuse list on the fuse cover clearly shows a relay in that position but it also shows relays where there are none. I did have to pull a couple of relays to test the fuses blocked by them, but was carefull to replace. the garage installed a relay in the fuel pump location and the envoy fired up and ran all day yesterday, starting several times no problems. Went out this morning and again it wont start? Went to Gm dealer and spoke with a very helpfull mechanic who suggested we may have lost the anti theft code. Been trying to reset the theft code as the mechanic suggested but not getting anything there. He also said we should be seeing a red light when trying to start. I cant see a red lgiht. Can anyone offer any help with this? I was trying to help out a friend on her Envoy, now it's already cost her one trip to a garage and a total of 150.00 and counting. I hate for her to have it towed "again" to the Gm dealer for something I may have done while testing fuses.
