The '96-00 5.7L engine is rated at 255hp (4600) and 330ft-lb (2800) at the flywheel.

The L31 is the code for the 5.7L motor for the years listed above. You can also click on some of the others. Notice the difference in the graphs. For example, the 7.4L (454ci) has a flatter torque curve (the blue line). This means that the motor produces near peak torque across a greater range of engine speeds.
