Thinking of getting a new 2015

I will be new to GMC after many Hondas and Toyotas.First truck of my life (I am 52 and think itwill be very handy to have a pickup). I live in NC and although we dont get much snow I think it might be cool to have 4x4 and bring on a beach every now and again.

I have a few questions.
I have heard the nav is not very good. Please let me know your thoughts.
I am thinking of getting pretty much most of the options they have. Any thoughts on what to stay away from as in what might not be worth it.

Mmgmc, I recently purchased a Canyon SLT CC with "pretty much most of the options" which of course would include Nav. In my limited time in the truck the Nav system seems to be quite beneficial and is less difficult than the unit in my Jeep wagon. The truck is very easy to drive and the engineers obviously had driver comfort in mind while designing seats and features (except for the odd placement of the 4x4 control) as it is a very much more comfortable vehicle than my 2011 Canyon. I do not think you will go wrong with this truck I know I am looking forward to many years of use, hopefully trouble free.
