Hey Everyone!
If you have a Throttle Body Injected engine that's seen better days, then this is little project that could bring that engine back to life!
My throttle body injection system wasn't running like it should, so I rebuilt it.
Once you've purchased the necessary gaskets and seals, and you've got the tools you need its time to get started!
First you'll need to remove the throttle body from the top of the engine.
There are 2 fuel lines that need to be disconnected in the back of the throttle body. There are also various vacuum lines and several electrical connections as well as the throttle cable. Once it is all disconnected, remove the throttle body by removing the 3 large bolts from the top of the unit.

Once the throttle body is removed, you may now begin to remove the injector and pressure regulator from the component. This is easily removed by unscrewing the torx screws.

Once the injector component is removed, this component can be disassembled by removing the torx screws. Once the top is removed from the injector component, the injectors can be removed. On the back of the injector component are 4 torx screws that hold together the fuel pressure regulator. This component has a spring inside which can easily be lost if not disassembled with care. You will need to replace the diaphragm inside the pressure regulator once you disassemble.
Once all components are disassembled, you will need to replace all seals, gaskets and O-rings as well as cleaning the entire unit.

Once fully cleaned and assembled, it it ready to be re installed.
Good Luck!
