Maybe your plug wires are a little brittle and you cracked one of them. This could cause it to arc and which would sound like a click noise. Open the hood at night while the engine is running and look for a wire that is sparking. DO NOT GET NEAR ANY MOVING PART ON THE ENGINE!! Just a thought ,hope this helps.
